I regularly receive requests from readers for paper recommendations, which can be among the most difficult to give because they are so personal to the user. With this in mind, I put together a series of five posts on my favorite and/or most recommended types of paper in five different categories: hardcover notebooks, slim softcover notebooks, spiral notebooks, pocket notebooks, and miscellaneous products such as writing pads, notecards, and looseleaf. This was incredibly hard to pare down into a streamlined, readable format, and just because something may not appear on one of these lists does not mean that it’s not a good product.
For questions about whether a specific brand of paper is “fountain pen friendly” or not, I’d recommend that you start by reading the post “Hierarchies of Fountain Pen Friendly Paper.”
If you have specific questions on a product or brand that does not appear on one of the lists below, please reach out through the “Contact Me” link, with e-mail or social media being the quickest way to get a response. I try to respond within a few business days!
