Pilot’s pioneering retractable fountain pen is a modern classic, and after all these years remains by far the most reliable option in the retractable fountain pen product category. The “Vanishing Point” features an excellent 18k gold nib that fully retracts into the pen body, protected by a trapdoor mechanism that also prevents the nib from drying out. The placement of the clip allows you to carry the pen in a shirt pocket in the nib-up position, preventing leaks and spills.

Pilot Vanishing Point nib units are easily interchangeable. Simply unscrew the barrel and insert a different nib size. Each unit ships with a CON-20 piston converter. Available nib sizes include extra fine, fine, medium, broad, and stub.

Available in three different finishes: Black, Rhodium, and Gold. All nibs are 18k.
